DIRECTIONS FOR USE
PROPAG-8 is for use on all crops during the propagation phase and often follows an application of STIMUL-8 in a programme of regular spraying. For instance, with lettuce this would mean one application of STIMUL-8 followed by two or three applications of PROPAG-8 and, for brassicae, one application of STIMUL-8 followed by four to six applications of PROPAG-8 per crop. Where brassicae are over-wintered (e.g. October sowings), an application of PROPAG-8 should be made every 10-21 days as a protective (routine stimulation) measure. For maximum yield and other benefits, continue with repeat applications of PROPAG-8 after transplanting or thinning.
Outdoor (low volume spraying): Apply 7 to 10 days after the STIMUL-8 application or when the first true leaf has fully expanded, using 1 to 2 litres of PROPAG-8 in a minimum of 200 litres of water, per hectare covered with plants. Apply 1 litre at 7 day intervals, 1.5 litres at 10-14 day intervals, or 2 litres at 14-21 day intervals. Glasshouse (or when spraying to run-off): Whilst the standard field rate of PROPAG-8 is 2 litres per hectare in 200 litres of water; for high volume spraying, application by hand lance, knapsack sprayer or when spraying to run-off, the rate should be 2 litres per hectare in 2,000 litres of water - a dilution rate of 0.1% (i.e. 1 ml of PROPAG-8 per litre of spray solution, applied over 5 square metres). DO NOT spray in a glasshouse or poly-tunnel in direct sunlight.
